Will Biedron

President

Company founder Will Biedron is a lifelong systems professional, with a relentless passion for helping companies get high impact from their networking technology. He began his career designing and building large video, audio and film production systems, and then developed database systems for managing them. He started building computer networks in 1988 and held numerous supporting IT roles within software and hardware firms. In 1994 he became one of the first technical contributors and data network executives at Continental Cablevision (now part of Comcast), leading the design and build-out of the first residential broadband network in New England. Since then, he has held business development, sales and engineering roles at network management and content delivery companies, including Akamai Technologies. Will received an MBA (Magna Cum Laude) from Babson College in 2011, and founded HIPERNET in 2014.

David Marcoux

VP, Sales and Operations

Dave Marcoux is HIPERNET’s VP of Sales and Operations. He has a diverse background in sales and business development, having held key positions in technology-oriented companies for over 25 years. Dave’s unique, results-oriented skill set is evident in his ability to build and maintain strong, valuable business relationships, focusing on HIPERNET’s financial goals and marshalling the appropriate resources needed to complete complex projects. Dave leads HIPERNET’s sales and operations activities and coordinates external resources when needed.

Jason Hibbard

Lead Broadband Design Engineer

Jason is a 35-year veteran of the cable industry, starting in 1983 with Continental Cablevision. He held the position of Director of Engineering for the Northeast Division of Comcast before leaving in 2019. While there, his many roles and tasks included building and maintaining headends, managing the conditional access engineering group, and managing the Installation, Service and Outside Plant Department. More recently, he worked with Braintree Electric municipal cable as Principal Design Consultant, spearheading the design of their IP-Only headend, which now provides Internet, telephony and video streaming services to their subscribers. Jason is published in Communications Technology Magazine and is a Senior Member of The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE), where he has been on the SCTE Board of Directors since 1986.

Jay Wessland

Jay Wessland is responsible for strategy, implementation, and management of technology and operations for the Boston Celtics, including IT, Coaching and Scouting Tools, Broadcast, Event Technology, Data/Voice Communications, Facilities, and Construction. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 1983 with a BS in Electrical Engineering and started his career at IBM in Poughkeepsie, NY. He joined the Celtics in 1990.

John Morency

John Morency has over 45 years of experience with the implementation and operations management of IT infrastructure. Most recently, he was a Vice President at Gartner, Inc. and responsible for IT operations resilience and recovery research. He co-founded Transitional Data Services, responsible for the delivery of its continuity- and compliance-specific offerings. He is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, a US patent holder and has authored over 750 research notes, article and conference presentations specific to network infrastructure and IT operations management over the course of his career.
